Scarborough Hockey Club hitman Anthony Allison bagged an astounding nine goals in his side’s 13-0 hammering of Bradford 2nds.

Allison’s goal-scoring exploits helped Scarborough bounce back from their first defeat in over a year in a resounding victory.

The striker was named in England Hockey’s Team of the Week as a result of his goal-scoring exploits.

Allison said: “As much as I really appreciate being nominated and successfully being picked to be part of the England Hockey Team of the Week, I have to say the rest of the squad deserved this as much as myself for the way we all played our parts at the weekend.”
