Young golfers welcome at junior coaching sessions
Bill Estill led the qualifiers in the Beckett Cup on Sunday, scoring 72 in cold and windy conditions. Mike Coates had the same nett score with a worse back nine, but couldn’t qualify for the matchplay stages as a junior member. Mike Kilpatrick had 73, with Steve Parkin, Simon Grant, Richard Barker and Dean Bennett on 74. John Carter and Sam Wiggins scored 75, ahead of Garry Walker, John Wightman and Steve Foster on 76.
