Cayton Reserves quit the Saturday League
The Division Two club have struggled for players despite a solid start to the season, and they were close to resigning in January but decided to try and see out the season.
They haven't been able to raise enough players to keep two sides going at the club though, which has forced them to call it a day.

"We started the season with a very decent squad, started unbeaten in the first four or five games, now I'm sending out 16-20 texts during the week, getting three confirming, three saying no and 10-14 not replying.
"The fun and enjoyment seems to have disappeared completely from football and lads are now doing alternatives on weekends.
"I'm very confident we won't be the last to go. I'm not really sure what the answer is to stopping it, young lads don't have the same mentality anymore, it seems if they aren't winning 10-0 every week they aren't interested."
