Scarborough borough averages 12 new Covid cases a week, ahead of the latest easing of lockdown

The borough’s infection rate per 100,000 has gone back up to 11 after falling to 10 yesterday.
It is the second lowest in North Yorkshire behind Ryedale and below the county and England averages which stand at 23 and 24 respectively.
It means the borough is averaging 12 new cases a week.

Hide AdFrom Monday, inside dining will once again be allowed with pubs also able to welcome customers indoors.
Groups of up to 30 will be permitted to meet outdoors.
Mobile testing facilities will be available in Whitby, Scarborough and Filey this weekend for anyone with symptoms to get tested.
