1. Oliver's Mount
Some of the best views of Scarborough are from the top of Oliver's Mount, you can see for miles on a clear day. Couple it with a walk around the mere and you have the makings of a perfect day out.
2. Forge Valley
There's plenty to explore in the woods at Forge Valley. The walkway makes this option accessible to all ages.
3. St Mary's loop
Take in the sights of Whitby on this loop from Sandsend. Stroll along the seafront with this walk into town that takes in the iconic 199 steps and St Mary's Church.
4. Cinder Track
Popular with walkers and cyclists, the cinder track is a nice flat run all the way to Whitby. Alternatively, looping from Burniston to Hayburn Wyke and back is a great walk.
