The Forestry Commission can reveal that top-selling artist, Will Young, will appear in a mega outdoor gig in Dalby Forest, as part of a Forestry Commission Live Music tour.

In the ten years since winning Pop Idol, Will Young has sold over 9 million records and a succession of hits including ‘Jealousy’, ‘Leave Right Now’, ‘Don’t Let Me Down/You and I’, ‘Light My Fire’, ‘All Time Love’, ‘Who Am I’ and ‘Changes’.

He will perform at Dalby Forest on Friday 29 June 2012 in a spectacular natural auditorium in the stunning 8,600 acre woodland, near Pickering, with the capacity set at 5,000.

Commenting on the tour, Will Young said, “The forest gigs have a great reputation for their atmosphere so I’m really looking forward to performing my songs in such unique settings.”

The singer-songwriter joins Ben Drew (Plan B) in making his Dalby debut as part of mid-summer weekend of live music.
