Limehouse Lizzy, the ultimate tribute to Thin Lizzy are set to bring the greatest hits to Whitby Pavilion on Saturday August 8.
Renowned for an action-packed pyrotechnic-fuelled explosion of a show, Limehouse Lizzy continue to keep the spirit of Celtic rock icon Philip Lynott and his band Thin Lizzy alive.
The band prides itself on attention to detail, playful audience interaction and the very best in guitar technique.
Limehouse Lizzy are certainly familiar with the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle, with shows that have taken them across Europe and around the world.
Following the success of their Live and Dangerous and Dedication tours, the band embarked upon their Into the Limelight 2008 tour.
They travelled as far as a headline slot at a rock festival in Greece, and the Virgin Atlantic Music festival in Barbados.
The hard work and dedication of this four-piece has certainly not gone amiss. In 2011 the Billboard Magazine added them to the PRS for Music’s Hardest Working UK Bands List.
This high energy, all action show will bring the favourite and much loved tracks of Thin Lizzy, including The Boys are Back in Town, Whiskey In The Jar, Jailbreak and many more.
The organisers of Whitby’s 60s Weekend a presents The Dreams of Fleetwood Mac tribute tour at Whitby Pavilion Theatre on Sunday at 7.30pm.
