Purple Mountain have the perfect way to kick start a summer of purple fun with a marathon and a live music event set in the heart of the forest this weekend.
On Saturday they have a host of summer fun planned with live music, a bar and catering.
People are invited to camp on Saturday evening at Adderstones field, in the heart of Dalby Forest, in preparation for the On One Hundred Mountain Marathon, which is a 100km off-road bike ride starting the following morning at 9am.
The trek will begin at the forest and will head out over the moors, through to Whitby.
Shorter five km and 30km routes are also available.
Registration starts at 3-6pm on Saturday and 7-8.15am on Sunday.
You can enter on the day or online and you will receive a goodie bag, with the chance to win amazing spot prizes from sponsors of the marathon, On One.

Band Talk to Angels are set to get the forest trees rocking as they perform on Saturday evening.
One of the band members, Mickey Dale, is from the band Embrace, Talk to Angels sound is a keyboard and string arrangement with an indie-rock sound.
