Whitby Town Football Club is kicking off the summer season with a great line-up of local acts topping the bill for its annual gig.

Lightning-fingered Carl Robinson, young and vibrant band Drunken Munky and rock band The Committee will be performing at the event.

Organiser Martin Hart said: “We would ask people to go along and support their local club.

“The summer gig is in aid of the club and all the money made on the night will go towards the general running and upkeep and rising costs that occur every year.

“We appreciate all the support we get.”

There will be food available on the night and a summer raffle with valuable cash prizes will be drawn on the night.

This year’s dance will be held at the club house, in Upgang Lane, on Friday 15 July from 7.30pm til late.

There is no set admission fee, but donations of your chosen amount can be made on the door.
