MUSIC legend Alan Price is heading to the Whitby Pavilion as a part of his current tour.

Alan Price has been a part of some of the most memorable sounds in the past 40 years - from the Animals’ House Of The Rising Sun to his quirky take on Randy Newman’s Simon Smith And His Amazing Dancing Bear to his many hits with Georgie Fame, including the most famous Rosetta.

His induction into the rock and roll Hall Of Fame in 1994 was testimony to his achievements throughout his career in the music industry and sits well alongside his BAFTA award for the soundtrack of the highly acclaimed film O Lucky Man! in which he also appeared as ‘himself’.

Alan continues to write, record and perform regularly throughout Europe.

Around the world, he is readily acknowledged as one of the most talented and enduring musical artists to have emerged from the 1960’s British Beat Boom.

Don’t miss this opportunity to see Alan live in concert at the Whitby Pavilion on Saturday 30 April.

Tickets costing £15.50 and £17.50 are on sale from the Pavilion booking line on (01947) 604855 or from Whitby TIC.

The gig starts at 7.30pm.
