WHITBY’S Last Laugh Comedy Roadshow is back in town for the second time this year for an evening of laughs.
The club at Whitby Pavilion Theatre features stand-up routines from the best comedians in the UK and abroad.
March’s line-up features comedians Jojo Smith, Steve Shanyaski and Phil Butler who will be taking to the stage on Saturday 16 March.
Jojo Smith has been hailed as a manic force leading where male stand-ups fear to tread although her comedy is so blue she makes Jo Brand look like one of the nuns from the Sound of Music, according to one critic.
Steve Shanyaski’s whirlwind performances and thrilling routines have constantly proven a hit. As seen on ITV1’s Comedy Rocks, the key to Steve’s act is his energy and silliness.
As soon as Phil Butler joined the UK comedy circuit, he found himself closing the show at all the major comedy clubs such as Jongleurs, Highlight, The Comedy Store, The Glee Club, The Banana Comedy Club, Bearcat, Baby Blue, Hyena Comedy Café, Last Laugh, but to name a few. Phil has also had the great honour of performing for our British troops in Iraq, Kosovo, Bosnia, Croatia and several times in Afghanistan.
Phil was amongst the first comedians to perform to the troops on the front line, and even received a medal for his time there.
Tickets for the Last Laugh Comedy Club on Saturday 16 March at 8pm are £12. Doors open at 7.30pm.
