WHITBY Pavilion’s digital cinema has a whole host of fun lined up for the summer.

On Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (15, 16 & 17 July), you can catch Prometheus (15).

A team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a journey to the darkest corners of the universe.

There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

Youngsters will definitely look forward to the screening of The Amazing Adventure of Spider-Man (12A) early next month in which Peter Parker finds a clue that might help him understand why his parents disappeared when he was young.

His path puts him on a collision course with Dr Curt Connors, his father’s former partner.

You can see this on 3, 5 and 7 August at 2.30pm or 6 and 8 August at 7.30pm.

And if that is not enough, comic escapades are also on their way with the arrival of Ice Age 4: Continental Drift (U), showing 10-15 August, 2.30pm.

Manny, Diego, and Sid embark upon another adventure after their continent is set adrift.

Using an iceberg as a ship, they encounter sea creatures and battle pirates as they explore a new world.
