Snapshots of Staithes in years gone by

A snapshot of Staithes life will be shown on the big screen next week.

Terry Lawson, a village stalwart who passed away last year, spent many years taking photographs and film in and around the village.

Many of his images can be seen in various pubs and shops but next week they will form part of an exhibition which is open to everyone.

‘Pictures of Staithes’ by Terry Lawson will be held at the Village Memorial Hall on Wednesday from 7pm. There will be a piano accompaniment by Filip Cieslik.

Entry is £3 on the door, raffle and refreshments.
