Summer panto for Pavilion

A fun packed family pantomime will be performed at Whitby Pavilion this summer.

Beauty and the Beast will be at Whitby Pavilion in August

The enchanting story of Beauty and The Beast, presented by AJ Productions, will run on Sunday August 27 and Monday August, 28 with performances at 1.30pm and 6.30pm on both days.

The story takes the audience on a journey through a small French village where lives the beautiful and intelligent Belle along with her eccentric housemate Dame Dolly.

Belle denies her suitor, the vain and boorish Gaston, as she wishes to better herself and move away from the village.

Gaston’s wicked mother casts a spell on the Prince to ensure that her son is the fairest in the land. When she hears the news of his rejection she creates an evil plan which in return, forces Belle to run away andstumble upon the Beast’s castle where she meets the loveable characters Miss Potts and Lumiere.
