Among the entertainers you can see are Robin Hood's Bay folk artists Eliza Carthy and her dad Martin Carthy.

In a special Facebook page created for the event, Musicport said: "In the absence of the actual 2020 festival this year, we are doing two evenings online to celebrate Musicport's 21st anniversary on October 24 and 25 this year.

"The evenings will comprise live acts and DJs in HPSS studios in Hull, a couple of live streamed performances from afar, archive footage from previous festivals plus pre-recorded contributions from some of our favourite artists all brought together on the weekend."

As well as Eliza Carthy and Martin Carthy, live acts include Paul Armfield, Joshua Burnell Band, Rikki Thomas- Martinez, Cassandre Balbar (from Varldrns Band) and Katie Spencer while the DJs include Drummie Dave (Atkin), Liz Collier, WOMAN (aka Rose Iredale), Skank Marvin (aka Gary Ward), DJ fflyffilyfbyl and Nashville Electro Service (aka Jack Wilson).

This will be a free-to-view event but there will be a link appearing on the Facebook page if anyone wants to contribute to funds.
