Folk award nominee Jim to play Rifle Club

Folk singer Jim Causley is performing a live solo gig in Whitby at the Rifle Club on Friday March 17.

Jim is no stranger to performing in Whitby, he’s played with Waterson Carthy on a number of occasions and by himself in various venues during Whitby Folk Week over the years.

This is a wonderful and timely opportunity to find out why he’s been nominated, once again, for a BBC Radio 2 Folk Award.

Support comes from Whitby Community Choir, Sam Dunkley, Nessie Williamson and Violet Hour.

Tickets are £10 and are available on the door on the night or in advance from WeGotTickets. Doors open at 7.30pm.
