AN exhibition of work by local artists who have taken their inspiration from the area’s vast moors and rugged coastlines will open in Robin Hood’s Bay on Sunday.

Works by Keith Blessed, Mary Bonner and Carol Black will be on display at the Old Coastguard Station from Sunday until Saturday 13 August.

The paintings are a mix of pastels, acrylics and watercolour.

There will also be a range of framed and unframed paintings for sale.

The exhibition is open between 10am and 5pm and admission is free.
