Stars from the sixties will grace the stage of Whitby Pavilion next month as one of this year’s most popular festival s takes place.
The Whitby Sixties Spectacular is being held on June 7, 8 and 9 and sees festival-goers from across the country as well as many local fans of music from the era take in live performances from some of the biggest names of the day.
Since the first sixties music festival in 2006, promoters Whitby Live have been holding the festival every June as well as organising a Whitby Sixties Spectacular in September.
From Friday night to Sunday night, the Whitby Sixties Spectacular will feature 20 acts performing in five shows.
Acts confirmed to perform are Hermans Hermits, Mike Pender’s Searchers, Merseybeats, Ivy League, C’Mon Everybody Show, Union Gap, The Fourmost, Edison Lighthouse and The Stones.
The festival will also feature performances from top sixties tribute acts, sixties quizzes and discos.
