Skipper hoping the buzz can help Flixton into the last four
The York Senior League outfit make a 290-mile trip to Falkland CC near Perth in Scotland for Sunday's clash, which could see them move a step closer to a place in the grand final at Lord's.
It certainly isn't an easy path for the Flixton lads, who are having to make the long journey north immediately after Saturday's away league game at Easingwold.

"The plan is to get things finished early in Easingwold, just so we can get ourselves up there, but things don't always go to plan.
"It is a long way and the lads could be tired for Sunday's big game, but staying up there is the only way to go because you'd just end up with a few getting lost and that would kill us."
The league action has taken a back seat in recent weeks with focus being firmly switched to pushing on in the national competition.

"It is just the buzz about those games, we are giving that extra per cent in the field, diving for catches, a lot of it is down to adrenaline.
"Hopefully that will get us through on Sunday.
"It will be a case of everybody chipping in if we are going to go there and win.
"We don't know much about them, so it is a case of concentrating on your own game.

"Everybody has to put their hand up on the day and show what they can do."
Flixton will have a hefty backing, despite the game being a almost 300 miles away from their usual base.
"There will be a bus of 50 going up there and a few cars are heading up on the day, "Norman said.

"We will obviously have their support to deal with on the day, so it will be good if our fans can go up there and help turn it into a home game."
