Whitby RUFC launch fundraising push as long awaited return to action draws nearer
Whitby Rugby Club have launched a fundraising appeal on crowdfunder, in association with Sport England, to try and improve their facilities as they return to action after a lengthy lay-off due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The funds raised via he club’s appeal will go towards improving the clubhouse roof and improving accessibility to the club’s facilities.
Improvements needed at their Showfield ground include work on the roof of the clubhouse, improvements to access to the building, extending parking facilities, improvements to changing rooms.
Some of the funding will also be earmarked to helping recruit more players of all ages to help increase participation numbers at the club.
