Scarborough Squash Academy re-opens its doors
With Scarborough falling into Tier 2, the Academy is able to open for a varying number of gameplay adaptions.
The Academy is open for single player (solo) practices, competitive play between members of a household or support bubble, school, college or university groups or players with disabilities.

Hide AdJunior coaching for up to 15 youngsters and one-to-one adult coaching are also permitted.
Players from different households or in a squash bubble are able to play ‘sides’, a socially distanced format of squash.
Director of the Scarborough Squash Academy, Scott McCabe said: “We are pleased with the news that the squash section of the club has been able to re-open following published guidelines from England Squash and the government.
“Appropriate measures are in place for the re-opening today and people are now able to make squash court bookings again.”

Hide AdThe news comes as another boost to Scarborough RUFC, who have been able to re-open Barons Health & Fitness, the Scarborough Squash Academy and Hartley’s Cafe following the end of the second national lockdown this week.
Rugby also looks set to return in the coming weeks as the government gave the RFU the green light to go ahead with an adapted version of the 15-a-side game, with the players set to re-start training sessions this week.
