CAEDMON School hosted a key stage one primary multi skills event over two days.

The event was well attended by Ruswarp, Seton, West Cliff, Sleights, East Whitby, Egton, Hawsker, Fylingdales, Danby, St Hilda’s, St Hedda’s, Lythe, Oakridge, Stakesby, Goathland, Castleton, Airy Hill.

Each day had more than 100 children taking part.

The sports leaders were given the task of creating mini games, which involved different disciplines such as balance, throwing, catching and accuracy to name a few, but with the main emphasis on having fun.

The games were spread between the gym and the main hall.

Each group were given six minutes on each station so the children had time to enjoy and perfect their skills.

The two days were very successful with lots of tired but smiley faces.

A big well done to all sports leaders involved and thanks to Caedmon PE staff, parents, teachers and school sports co-ordinator Caroline Watson who organised the event.
