Improved course for coastal half-marathon

FOR the second year running, the Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team is to stage its successful Ravenscar Coastal Half Marathon.

With nearly 100 competitors in the first year, the improved route promises to make this year’s race bigger still.

The race is to be run on Sunday 15 May and will raise much-needed funds to support the work of the team.

The course has been altered slightly following feedback from last year’s race. It now follows the coast from Ravenscar to Burniston and back with only a short deviation on to the old railway track.
