IT has been a memorable season for snooker double act Ricky Heseltine and Simon Page.
The pair, along with Stewart Tait and Rob Nesbit, won the Whitby Snooker League title playing for the Shambles, coming from five points behind with two games left to lift the crown.
They needed eight out of the last eight points to win and duly obliged.
It caps an amazing season for Simon and Ricky - who is known in snooker circles as The Glove because he wears one while playing - who topped the handicap in the league and regularly have to give 50 and 60 head starts before they hit a ball.
Simon and Ricky also claimed the doubles crown to gloss a fine season.
