Whitby side Fishburn Park were knocked out of the MacMillan Bowl by high-fliers Grangetown BC in an eight-goal-thriller.
The home side fell behind on 27 minutes when Morrison beat the offside trap to slot home.
Fishburn were rewarded for their efforts on 38 minutes when the lively Jake Faichney latched onto a short back pass to round the keeper and fire home.
The game turned in the visitors’ favour after 69 minutes when they were awarded a penalty and Park defender Cal Ward was sent off.
Morrison slotted home from the spot to restore the Teessiders’ lead.
Time looked to be running out for the home side as Grangetown spurned several chances against 10-man Park, but on the stroke of full-time, James Organ-Simpson fired home to take the tie to extra time.
Grangetown regained the lead on 103 minutes with Mcgowan sliding home but Fishburn levelled again as ex-Whitby Town striker Faichney powered home to make it 3-3.
Boys’ Club finally broke the Whitby side’s stubborn resistance with two late goals from Meginson and Mcgowan’s second of the match as Park began to tire.
