Teens bounce back in emphatic style

FISHBURN under 15s bounced back in emphatic fashion after last week’s disappointing defeat.

After making the long journey to play the unbeaten home side, Park got off to the perfect start when a great through ball found Fussey who raced clear and finished neatly.

Fishburn’s central midfield of Adamski and Sneap were dictating the pace of the game as they began to find the passing game which has been a feature of their play for the past two seasons.

A great move saw Fussey in the clear and he made no mistake to send Fishburn into the break 2-0 up.

The second half began with Park in total control, passing the ball across the back four and through midfield with some style.

A move which started at the back saw the ball played into Gildroy who knocked a great ball around the corner to Fussey to complete his hat-trick.

Richmond began to loose their discipline and conceded a free-kick 30 yards from goal.

Clarke struck an unstoppable shot which found the top corner to cap a fine performance by Park’s talented defender.

Richmond got a consolation goal with five minutes remaining to make the final score 4-1 to Park.

All Park’s squad played well with midfield pair Adamski and Sneap outstanding.
