LEALHOLM surged into the semi-finals of the Scarborough Junior Cup with a comfortable win over FC Rosette.
Lealholm came out and took the game to Rosette and dominated for the first 30 minutes.
On six minutes, Steve Bedingfield found the net for Lealholm direct from a corner and Anth Morgan set up a goal for Phil Brown who hit a sweet volley, which left the Rosette keeper helpless.
A penalty converted for the home side gave some hope of a fight back, but the Lealholm defence was giving nothing away.
At the start of the second half, Rosette got back into the game, and the football flowed from end to end, but Duncan Marson, who worked a great move from a short corner, wrapped up the game for Lealholm with a third.
This capped a great game for Marson who was named man of the match.
