Richardson hits treble for free-scoring Park

FISHBURN Park’s under 13s recovered from a shaky start to go on a goal spree.

Early on, Hunmanby hit the bar and had a shot cleared off the line by Ryan Ackers, but things improved with Fishburn putting on a superb passing display throughout the rest of the game.

Chris Hurworth opened the scoring on 20 minutes after a good run down the right wing by JamieEntwistle.

Will Richardson netted another on the stroke of half -time with a chip over the keeper after another Entwistle run and assist.

At the break, Fishburn were reminded they needed to make up some goals and they didn’t disappoint.

It took just two minutes for Entwistle to latch onto a free-kick after a mix-up in the Hunmanby defence.

Soon after, Richardson beat the offside trap to score the fourth of the game.

Fishburn continued to dominate with Callum Halley seeing his shot deflected in to the Hunmanby goal to make it five.

Richardson secured his treble with a perfectly curled shot after a scramble in the box.

Jack Gale came off the bench with five minutes to go to calmly slide the ball past the keeper. Jack Kelly’s threatening corners were finally rewarded when one found Ben Pike at the back post for him to score.

There was time for one more goal at the end when Ackers made a good run before seeing his shot squeeze in at the near post.
