Fishburn Park’s MacMillan Bowl semi-final clash with Whinney Banks was abandoned after striker Jake Faichney suffered a broken leg.
Faichney, who is the Teesside League outfit’s top-scorer, was injured following a robust challenge with just over a quarter of an hour of the game played.
Joint manager Mark Waterfield said: “Jake was stretching for the ball and a defender got there first.
“It was a full-blooded tackle and Jake felt the full force of it, breaking the tibia in his left leg.”
Fishburn were leading the game 1-0 at the time, Sam Richardson putting the home side in front with seven minutes played following Park’s first meaningful attack.
The match is scheduled to replayed on April 16.
