A LAST-gasp strike through a crowd of players ruined Lealholm’s hopes of keeping up the chase on league leaders Lingdale FC.

A goal in the first minute for Liam Raw and a 90th minute strike from Shane Breckon won the game for Boosbeck.

On the first attack after some quick passing Raw curled the ball goal bound from the edge of the penalty area.

A Nathan Gibson free kick was well placed for Mike Thompson to level for Lealholm.

In the 70th minute, Duncan Marson scored from a penalty for Lealholm after he was fouled to raise their hopes of an important win.

Boosbeck pressed forward and an Arran Johnson goal brought the score level again.

As the game looked to be destined for a draw, a last minute clearance in the Lealholm defence fell for Shane Breckon to fire the ball through a crowd of players to steal the points.
