ROLL over Manchester City! Fishburn Park under nines are taking their league by storm just weeks after kicking off their maiden campaign.

The boys are top of the Teesside Junior Alliance with six wins out of six, the leading goalscorer in Brandon Finn (12 goals) and two others - Best and Ryan Hewison - with four apiece.

And someone who is sure to make TV pundit Alan Hansen proud is keeper Tyler Henshaw, who is yet to concede a goal all season.

Tyler, a big Leeds United supporter, will meet his idols on Friday 4 November in a Leeds on the Road tour event at Whitby Rugby Club, where he hopes to meet Whites keeper Andy Lonergan to pick up some tips on keeping the run of clean sheets going.

The boys’ most recent game was a 3-0 win at Redcar Athletic B on Sunday, with goals from Drew Bowman, Brandon Finn and Ryan Hewison as well as a solid defensive display from man of the match Mitch Humble.

Fishburn hope to extend that this Sunday when they play Guisborough Town B.

Manager Adam Bell says he is very pleased with how the team has gelled and performed in their first season together.
