Newlands Reserves roared to a magnificent 7-0 win at Ayton Reserves.

Aiden McCallion opened the scoring, Dan Hitchcock adding two goals before half-time with a Dan Virr effort sandwiched inbetween them.

Virr notched a second goal after the interval, with Ellis Sellars and Ryan Matson completing the scoring, but the hosts should have had several goals themselves with only a string of fine saves from Newlands man of the match, Jordan Pickard, frustrating them.

Right-back Danny Milne was named man of the match for Ayton.
