It was a big three points for us and to pick up the clean sheet as well was pleasing.

It was an impressive performance and the margin between the two sides could have been bigger had we taken our chances.

We played our football in the right areas and contested the first and second balls throughout the ninety minutes.

Obviously Hyde play on a 4G pitch and it was nice for us to play on a flat pitch which was perfect for us.

Some people think we’re a one trick pony but I believe that we can play on any surfaces and pick up points.

It’s always the same for both sides.

Shane (Bland) made his 250th appearance for the club on Saturday and he’s been a huge player for us.

When I first arrived at the club he was a massive part of the squad and he has matured nicely.

He’s a top goalkeeper and we’re extremely lucky to have him here.

Speaking of influential players, it was nice to see Callum Patton back on the bench on Saturday.

Callum’s been injured and then we sent him out on loan which has helped him return to match fitness.

I’m hopeful that Dale Hopson will return to the squad in the next few weeks.

He’ll be a big addition if we can get him involved and fighting for his place.

We host FC United of Manchester on Saturday and it’ll be another tough game.

They’re high flyers and will be in and around the automatic promotion places come the end of the season.

Of course it’ll be difficult but we come into the game on the back of four games unbeaten and we can take confidence into the game.

Let’s hope we get the rub of the green and that things go our way so that we are able to pick up the points.
