Whitby Town chairman Graham Manser has thanked Blues supporters who made the long journey to Colwyn Bay on Tuesday night.
Around 50 fans undertook a near 400-mile round trip from North Yorkshire to North Wales to cheer their team to a 4-1 victory.
“The support was fantastic, and it was a great effort travelling so far on a Tuesday night to back the team,” Manser told the Whitby Gazette.
“It’s a long way to go, and all the cheering and noise made for a great atmosphere and was very much appreciated.
“I’d like to thank them all for their backing.”
Manser was also delighted with the result, which was Town’s second successive win, and boosted their chances of avoiding relegation from the Evo-Stik Premier Division.
“It was both a superb victory and performance, and it gives us a really good chance of staying up,” he added.
