Evening League clubs agree constitution for 2015 season

A constitution for the AndyHire Evening League’s 2015 season was agreed by member clubs at last night’s Annual General Meeting.

There were no major talking points from the meeting at North Marine Road, with member clubs agreeing a new constitution for the 2015 campaign, which will kick-off on Thursday April 30 and run until Thursday July 30.

The 2015 league set-up sees eight teams playing in divisions A and B and 11 in division C, with those 11 teams playing 14 games.

The league committee were voted on en-bloc, with Ricky Nock being unanimously voted onto the league’s committee, replacing Pete Shepherdson, who resigned recently.

The league’s balance sheet showed a loss of £245.85, this mainly caused due to much-needed repairs to the Hunter Cup silverware.

League secretary Bernard Goulding thanked sponsor AndyHire, who agreed to continue their support of the league, and revealed McCain have withdrawn their 30-year backing of their cup competition and that the league are actively seeking a new sponsor.
