BECKETT LEAGUE: Livie's 83 helps guide Glaisdale to Fylingdales victory

Glaisdale continue to lead the way in Division A after a home win over Fylingdales.

Sam Webster’s 83 helped Fylingdales to a total of 145-8, Jack Allanson taking 3-19 and Graham Featherstone 3-23.

Alex Livie was then in superb form with the bat as he made 83 and Sam Spenceley 33 as Glaisdale made it safely to 149-4.

Scalby cruised to a nine-wicket win over Ravenscar to stay in second spot.

Ravenscar struggled to 86-6 before Lee Kerr’s 61 helped Scalby to 87-1.

Elsewhere in Division A, Ganton were 72-run winners against Grosmont.

Ebberston 2nds beat Snainton by four wickets to stay top of Division B.

Steve Ridley hit 44 and George Baldwin 40 in Snainton’s 110-6, but Ebberston edged home to 112-6 Rich Ward making 29 and Jacob Warters 27.

Great Habton 2nds remain in second spot courtesy of a 14-run win over Malton & Old Malton 3rds.

Charlie Coulson’s 33 and 27 from Vernon Smith helped Habton to 151-7, Tom Pinder taking 4-30.

Despite 43 not out from Alex Chapman and 41 from opener Alex Biles, Malton fell short on 137-4.

George Bentley bagged 5-15 to help Nawton Grange 2nds to a four-wicket win over Thornton Dale 2nds.

Dale were all out for 73 before Grange made it to 76-6.

Scarborough Rugby Club were victors by three wickets in a high-scoring match at Bridlington 3rds in Division C, making 198-7 responding to Brid’s 197-7.

Flamborough stayed top after Ganton 2nds conceded their encounter.

Wykeham 3rds were on 110-4 when their game against Scalby 3rds was abandoned due to rain.
