Adam Lyth's spell with Pakistan Super League side Multan Sultans cut short due to injury
Adam Lyth’s spell with Pakistan Super League franchise Multan Sultans has been cut short after the Whitby man suffered an injury setback.
The Yorkshire left-hander has flown back to the UK after his injury put a halt to his stint in the PSL.
Lyth didn’t make an appearance for the Sultans in this year’s competition, with the franchise struggling thus far.
Lyth Tweeted: “Gutted to be leaving the @multansultans family early due to injury I wish them all the luck in the world for the rest of the comp.”
The Yorkshire man will now turn his attentions to preparing for the 2021 season with Yorkshire, as well as playing for Leeds-based Northern Superchargers in the inaugural Hundred.
