Check out Biffy Clyro in these six venues ahead of Download Festival headline slot

Fans of Scottish rock titans Biffy Clyro will be able to see their heroes play live at six intimate shows in 2021, ahead of the band’s headline spot at Download Festival.

Branded as The Fingers Crossed Tour, the mini series of shows will see the group return to venues that they haven’t played in ten years or more.

The band announced via their social media: “We’ve decided to announce a short run of dates at intimate venues for April 2021. These dates are not intended to replace the arena tour, but given the current uncertainty of large scale indoor arena shows in the UK, we feel they will give us the best chance to play live to our fans as soon as possible, ahead of the Download Festival next June.”

Biffy Clyro will be playing these intimate gigs:

April 11 - Liverpool, University (Mountford Hall)

April 12 – London, O2 Forum Kentish Town

April 13 - Cambridge, Corn Exchange

April 15 - Sheffield, O2 Academy

April 16- Southampton, O2 Guildhall

April 17 - Bristol, O2 Academy.

Demand for tickets is expected to be high. Tickets will be released on general sale on Friday, August 21; go to www.ticketmaster.co.uk/biffy-clyro-tickets/artist/1139434 website.

The band launched their ninth album, A Celebration of Endings this month, and will be airing tracks from this alongside their hits at next year’s live appearances.

Biffy Clyro are looking forward to returning to Download Festival at Donington Park, Leicestershire, to headline the Saturday show on June 5, 2021. The group commented: “ It’s a highlight of the festival calendar and a big part of our history as a band.”
