Having read this weeks Gazette the 2 major problems in the town have yet again been highlighted parking and public toilets.
I have lived in the town 18 years and seen many improvements over the years especially places to eat and now think the town is excellent for eating out.
What a pity the toilet facilities have not improved at the same rate.
The day trippers to the town seem to use the co-op toilets whether shopping their or not as I understand the bus drivers tell them they are the best to use.
Recently I had a day out in Bridlington, whilst not very impressed with places to eat I could not help noticing several new very clean and well maintained toilet blocks.
So come on Scarborough borough council if Bridlington can do it why can’t you and make the town a memorable place to visit for the right reasons.
