We spent a long weekend in Whitby last week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The town is most interesting and the people we met so friendly.
The main purpose of this letter however is to sincerely thank our taxi driver from Harrisons (unfortunately we don’t have his name).
My husband had left home without his tablets and the doctor said he must obtain replacements.
Our driver drove us to Boots Chemists and waited for us while the chemist made up the prescription (we had not asked him to do this).
He then drove us into the town centre which was such a blessing as I have walking difficulties.
We were so moved by his kindness and thoughtfulness that I wanted to write this letter in the hope that you will print it in your paper.
