Prompt and efficient attention at regatta

On Monday this week I travelled by coach from my home to Whitby for my annual visit.

Naturally I wanted to watch the firework display, but whilst standing and waiting for it to begin I started to feel unwell.

A friend told a nearby regatta steward who promptly alerted the first aid team who arrived within minutes, followed soon after by the paramedics.

They carried out all the necessary tests, asking the relevant questions.

I soon started to feel much better.

I missed most of the fireworks though.

I should like to extend my appreciation to the very prompt, efficient and kindly way all those involved behaved.

I then enjoyed the rest of my stay in and around Whitby.
