Lights no use to anyone

In these days of austerity one has a right to expect that Scarborough Borough Council set a good example in the elimination of waste.

Why then do the lights at Station car park in Robin Hood’s Bay come on nightly, each night and all night when the toilets are locked and have been locked for the whole of the winter. If they were just to eliminate waste such as this throughout the borough just imagine how much could be saved.
