Toilet provision is essential to visitors coming to our much advertised lovely coastline and moorland villages, so that they go back home and say to friends; we have been to Whitby/Scarborough, the toilets every way are first class.
And not saying, we have been to Whitby/Scarborough, goodness me, the toilets are a disgrace, we will not be going there again.
I was interested to learn that toilet provision is not a council statutory duty.
If not, it should be nationwide government enforced due to public health etc health and safety.
I would like to know where does all car parking money go?
£5.30 for four hours!
I ask you, also, how can Redcar-Cleveland Council provide first class toilets at Cat Nab, Saltburn Pier, Station Square, Marske-Redcar Stray and Redcar Town Centre?
All first class and all free.
I would ask Mr Goodwill MP to have a word with the new chancellor to stop cutting our councils to the bone.
