Whitby farm worker airlifted to hospital

A worker at a farm near Whitby was airlifted to hospital on Monday (28 March) after suffering chest pains.

An ambulance and The Great North Air Ambulance attended the incident just after 10am.

But the man who was in his 60s was found to be having a heart attack and was flown directly to heart specialists at James Cook University Hospital.

The flight took just 10 minutes.
