Police are appealing for information to help locate a wanted man after an incident outside Whitby Library in September.
Court warrants have been issued for the arrest of Philip Nathaniel Whittaker after he failed to appear at court in October in relation to a drunk and disorderly charge in Whitby on 22 September at 5.25pm. The 44-year-old, from Beverley, also failed to appear at Hull Magistrates’ Court regarding a burglary charge in his home area. Whittaker is described as a transient criminal who sleeps rough and travels around the North of England. He is white, 5ft 5in tall, thin build, green eyes, and has straight, combed-back long brown hair.
