AN ANGLING boat with seven passengers was towed back into the harbour by the lifeboat after breaking down nearly seven miles off Whitby.

The Humber Coastguard was alerted at 10.40am on Friday morning to a call for help from the ten metre charter vessel Charisma.

Charisma was berthed alongside the fish pier pontoon and Whitby’s ALB was refuelled and made ready for service at 12.45.
