It could be the pawfect day trip for man and his best furry friend.
So to celebrate the start of April and the onset of what is set to be a busy summer season, the popular heritage railway attraction, the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, has created a carriage dedicated just to dogs.
As our doggy companions enjoy the scenic 24-mile route between Whitby and Pickering, staff wheel through a special treats trolley and there is also a puppy privy, to save the train from needing to make tactical pit stops.
Dogs of all sizes are welcome.
