Tasty success as 250 take part in Malton food run
250 eager participants took part in the sell-out 10 kilometre fun run on Sunday 26 August and there was no doubt why a place in the race was in such demand, with a trail of mouth-watering treats along the route in the North Yorkshire countryside.
The route had been planned by Visit Malton Community Interest Company (CIC), which also organises the Malton Food Lovers Festival, Street Food Sundays, the monthly food markets and the upcoming Harvest Food Festival to name but a few.

Tom Naylor-Leyland, director of Visit Malton CIC, said: “We are absolutely thrilled, our very first Marathon Du Malton was a sell-out success.
“We have been inundated with requests from even more interested participants, so are already in the planning stages to bring a bigger Marathon Du Malton back next year!
