Trains between Grosmont and Whitby on the North Yorkshire Moors railway have been replaced by buses today after a hole appeared in the track.
The hole is in the trackbed and Network Rail are currently working on fixing it.
A spokesperson for the heritage railway line says that the line is expected to be repaired and open by Tuesday morning.
However, in the meantime train services between Grosmont and Whitby are currently cancelled.
There will be a replacement bus service in operation and timings are largely in line with the red timetable, but any passengers planning to travel on the 1800 ex Whitby, do need to make special arrangements with NYMR in advance.
NYMR say they “apologise for any inconvenience caused”.
