Scarborough Council to ask for BID process to be paused following widespread concern by businesses
Scarborough Council has asked for the Yorkshire Coast BID to be paused until the Secretary of State for Local Government rules on the voting process.
The decision comes after councillors attended a meeting organised by businesses in Whitby who have been objecting to the outcome of last year's vote.
